After a long day, a super hero needs to refuel.


He wore this blanket around all afternoon yesterday. I had to make him take it off to go in to eat supper last night. Jake wasn't much help with it either, he was going to let him keep it on.

Gabe's ready for football!

Well maybe the whole family is ready. I never thought I would say this, but I can't wait for the first football game. Alabama vs. Clemson August 30th and we are going.
So Gabe got a head start yesterday on his spirit wear. Here are a few pics just to tie all of you Bama fans over till August.

4th of July Fun

We had a great long weekend. My boss let us out of the office at 2 on Thursday. So that was a great surprise. Friday we spent time at my grandmother's house swimming then Saturday we loaded up the mini van (Inez's van) and went to Chattanooga for the day. We had a great time doing a lot of nothing. It was a great break form work but just not long enough. (Can't wait for the Christmas holiday.)

First swimming lessons

Gabe had his first swimming lessons last week. He started out the week loving it but ended the week screaming "my mommy"(I want my mommy). I think the teacher got water in his nose one day and from that point he hated the idea of moving from the bench.

Jake's leaving in the morning for a week long mission trip in Baja, Mexico. He is in need of prayers for a safe trip. This is his third trip to Mexico, but this time it is a little different for the both of us. This time I'm not going with him and this is his first time away from Gabe.
