Easter egg hunt 2011

This was our first year at Mayfair's egg hunt. I was a little overwhelmed when we first got there. There had to be at least over 200 kids there. But it was run perfect. They started with a few songs. I was so proud of Gabe he went right up front and started singing with everybody.

"Maggie shake your hair"

I got Maggie's hair cut about 2 months ago. She didn't cut much just a small trim and a few bangs. But in the last month it has really started to change. It is so curly and thick.


She did not like it at all.

This was about a week ago.

She loves for me to fix it now and she always wants a bow in.
I have trained her well.

A Great Investment!

Santa got a really good deal back at Black Friday. He got a trampoline for the kids. I don't know if there were many people that thought it was a very good idea, but I loved the thought of the kids playing on that and not spending all their time down in the yard where SNAKES could get them. Ha! (I really worry about that!)
So far they haven't got to play on it much but the few time they have they loved it!

Gabe's Pirate Party

I never got around to posting about Gabe's party. He had an awesome party. It was his second pirate party in two years. We had it at Kid Venture here in Huntsville. It is the perfect place for Gabe. They have a HUGE pirate ship to play on and in. Gabe had been talking about his party for months. It was pretty easy on me, thanks to all those who helped. The kids had a great time. When one little boy was leaving he came up to Gabe and said "awesome party Gabe" and Gabe just smiled he was sooo happy. Ha! I just love to see him happy!

7 Years

Wow seven years! It just seems like yesterday. We were so young, me 21 and Jake 20! We have come such a long way. We have had many ups and downs but we have come out of it all stronger and closer then ever. I look forward to our future together and watching our babies grow up.

Maggie and Smudge

Maggie LOVES her cat! (I do too!) He is very good with her. She can carry him around the house all day! Maggie has had her first big scratch. I thought it might scare her but after I put Smudge up she went right over to the door and started crying wanting me to let him back out.
When we ask her what a cat says she says "AWWWWWWWW". She is just becoming such a amazing little girl.
The last week she has been sleeping till 8:00 instead of 5:30. Her fits are getting much shorter. I hope we are getting past all the crying!?
