Destin 2012

Family trip to Destin FL in August of last year. A little late but better late then never! Right?

          Maggie loved the sand this time. The water took a little time to get used to but after a day or so we couldn't keep her out.

 

                                 Gabe used his body board all week to "surf".

                   Granddaddy even spent a lot of time at the beach enjoying the kids!

          I have been in love with Destin for years! The water is the most amazing blue!

                Maggie loved to be buried in the sand. She even had her daddy
                                                   make her "bibs" one day!

                                    The best we got! Maggie was "upset"!

                                          Last night at the beach!

                      We had a blast! Thanks to Stefanie for getting it together
                                             and letting us tag along!

Maggie has every man in her life wrapped around her little finger! She loves all things girly. She will will tell you her favorite colors are pink, yellow and new to the list is purple. She can't say her r's! I love to here her talk! She is STUBBORN! She claims every animal in out neighborhood. She loves dresses and hates "blue pants" blue jeans! She loves her Dora flip flops (mommy hates them). She wants to be "bubbas" boss and is successful with that most of the time! And did I say she is STUBBORN!

I thank God for giving me a little girl. Maggie is so much like me and it is so fun to watch! Jake has no clue what the next 15 years hold for him!

                                                       I love this face even more today!
It is hard to believe that Gabe is already 6! He is the most amazingly smart boy I know and he has a wonderful heart. He does not like school! It's not that it's hard for him it is that he just wants to spend his time playing. He told me last fall that Mrs. Seller's makes him work to much and doesn't give him play time! Next year (1st grade) is going to be even harder! But I know he will be amazing!
         I thank God everyday for giving him to me! His kisses always make a bad day better!
